The iPhone XS (pronounced "ten ess") and XS Max are the updated version of last year's iPhone X. The XS has a 5.8-inch OLED display, while the XS Max has a 6.5-inch display.

This is the new iPhone for "regular folks" who don't see their iPhone as a status symbol or sweat details like a stainless steel body or 512GB of storage for photos and videos.

Replacing the batteries in the iPhone X line will cost more than for other iPhones. Strangely the iPhone X which was released past year, as well as other iPhones tht were not mentioned is no longer listed on Apple Malaysia's official website. Both displays boast a 60 percent greater dynamic range than the iPhone, while featuring the same high contrast ratio, HDR, Dolby Vision, HDR10, True Tone display, wide color support, and 120Hz refresh rate.

It is powered by the A12 Bionic CPU which is build on a 7nm processor with 6 cores coupled with 4GB RAM. But this time around, Apple's also ditching the previously included Lightning to 3.5mm dongle, making it even harder to connect your iPhone to legacy accessories like headphones, speakers, or vehicle stereos. Why pay $999 for the fantastic screen on the iPhone XS or iPhone XS Max when you could effectively buy the same phone for $100 less? People storing albums upon albums of home movies will prefer the 512GB option that the iPhone XS and XS Max offer.

More and more smartphones feature edge-to-edge screen designs that get rid of the physical button, relying instead on gesture-based controls to navigate.

iPhone XS and XS Max will be available for pre-orders starting at 3:01 pm on September 14, Friday.

The new Apple Watch, and some of its new capabilities: low heart rate detection, ECG, and fall detection. It has the same upgraded technology as the iPhone XS phones, and you can take Bokeh portrait shots with the help of software. The wide-angle camera features an all-new sensor, a six-element lens, and a maximum f/1.8 aperture, while the telephoto lens can go as wide as f/2.4.

The exclusion of these older models also omits the 3.5mm headphone jack for once and all from the iPhone lineup.
