Mobile Promises New Rock Star Customer Service For Everyone

Mobile Promises New Rock Star Customer Service For Everyone

From the sounds of things, T-Mobile is going to solve two of the real pain points for customers with Team of Experts: customers will get directly through to a human when they call customer support, and that human will be one one member of a small (ish) team that doesn't change.

T-Mobile's "Team of Experts" will be launching nationwide and will eliminate the customer grind of trying to get connected with a customer service representative.

T-Mobile CEO John Legere on stage to talk about customer service.

T-Mobile President and COO Mike Sievert said the company's model eschews chatbots and the Interactive Voice Response menus that have customers mashing buttons to navigate through the service maze.

You'll also be able to use Team of Experts to schedule calls at a time that's convenient for you, see pictures of your Experts in the T-Mobile app to develop a more personal relationship with them, and more. Instead of waiting for a rep, you are in control. T-Mobile also announced today that it's giving its subscribers a year of Pandora Plus for free, much like it did with Netflix subscriptions last year. T-Mobile gives no indication that it will open it up to prepaid customers, but there's always a possibility.

T-Mobile's Team of Experts program, however, will provide you with a specific group of people who will address problems with your phone or account regardless of when you call or where you call from.

With this deal in place, T-Mobile customers can expect discounted $25 lawn tickets (taxes and fees included in price), access to sold out tickets and sold out sections of the show, plus more.

These perks will be rolling out to amphitheaters/event centers nationwide and numerous perks will be offered through the T-Mobile Tuesdays app.

T-Mobile states even more perks will be available at select venues starting next year. With Plus, you can also enjoy unlimited skips, replays, personalized stations, and offline listening. The Pandora Plus subscription deal will begin on August 28 via a code sent to customers through the T-Mobile Tuesdays app.

Pandora Plus is the premium version of Pandora's service, which includes ad-free, high quality tunes.
