Android Pie is coming to all Nokia smartphones

Just like you, we also expect Samsung to release the Android 9.0 Pie update for this device. There are a lot of great new features in Android 9, but not everything is ideal.

Previously, the Google official account acknowledged the existence of the lag in unlocking the screen of the Pixel 2 XL for some users and confirmed the identification of its fix.

Some users have claimed it's still possible to activate fast charging by powering the device down, and plugging it in while powered down. This allows for a charging rate of 5V/3A, however some users have been reporting issues regarding quick charging ever since upgrading to Android 9.0 Pie.

Though the UI changes - which will be turned off by default for many users - represent the most obvious tweaks to Pie (also known as Android 9), the Project Treble effort could have longer-lasting effects, Raphael said. Developers behind CallRecorder - ACR and BoldBeast Android Call Recorder apps have suggested that their apps can still work on a rooted Android 9 Pie device. The move was put in place to comply with regional laws that required consent from both parties for a call to be recorded. Pixel, Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL users have not reported any such issue after the update. So, if you have any of the above mentioned smartphones then you will surely receive Android Pie update on that. "No call recording app will be able to do so", wrote the developers of the Call Recorder - ACR app on their forums.

NEW DELHI:Google finally released the next version of Android. As per a media report, the Google Pixel 3 XL and Google Pixel 3 will not launch with the conventional touchscreen buttons. As per a blog post, companies like Xiaomi, Sony Mobile, Oppo, Vivo, OnePlus as well as other qualifying Android One will be receiving this update by the end of the year. There are also external devices specifically created to record mobile phone calls, but they may not be compatible with your particular phone model, and the good ones tend to cost over $100. But the good bit is that Google has acknowledged the issue and will hopefully soon release a fix.
