Abby Huntsman Expected to Join ‘The View’ at ABC

"The View" may be adding another conservative panelist, we're told.

Abby Huntsman, who has worked at Fox News Channel as a general assignment reporter and co-host of the weekend edition of "Fox & Friends", is expected to join the ABC daytime talk show, according to a person familiar with the situation.

Variety reports the FOX News correspondent has joined season 22 of the ABC TV show.

Huntsman is the daughter of Ambassador to Russia Jon Huntsman and has hosted "Fox & Friends Weekend" since 2016. Prior to that, she worked for MSNBC and HuffPost Live. She is the daughter of former Utah Republican Governor Jon Huntsman Jr., who served as ambassador to China under former President Barack Obama, and is now President Donald Trump's ambassador to Russian Federation as per the Washington Times.

Haines announced the bittersweet news of her departure at the end of July, thanking her View co-hosts and co-workers for her time on the show. CNN is moving S.E. Cupp, a right-of-center host and anchor, to its Saturday lineup after launching a show with her on CNN.

"I don't have words to express my gratitude".

"I really hope that it is a conservative seat, because I think it will balance out that table", Bure said. "This has been a dream". I'm not going to sit in a makeup chair for an hour and be like, "Then I'll go get the story".
