Roy Moore admits Sacha Baron Cohen tricked him too

Former Alabama judge Roy Moore hinted Wednesday that he too was duped by British comedian Sacha Baron Cohen, becoming the latest conservative to complain in advance of a new series Cohen has been filming. In her post, she didn't say exactly what he did, but a source familiar with the interview told People that "the last straw" was a question about "a government-funded sex-change operation for Chelsea Clinton". Then it got weird.

"I did NOT say I was a War Vet", the letter reads.

Ruddick claims he never presented himself as a former member of the US military (he was, in fact, a part of the United Parcel Service), that he was unable to serve his country (following the discovery of bone spurs in his "testies"), and that Palin may have been hit by a "bullshit grenade".

On Thursday, Cohen fired back at Palin. well, sort of. He added, "I do believe you have been hit by a bullshit grenade and are bleedin' FAKE NEWS".

"You used to hunt the most risky animals in the country, like wolves and people on welfare", the statement concluded.

Who Is America? premieres Sunday, July 15 at 10/9c on Showtime.

Former U.S. Republican congressman Joe Walsh, now a conservative talk radio host, said he was persuaded to do an interview on Israel.

The seven-episode series marks Baron Cohen's first television project in a decade after he launched his comedy career as subversive white English rapper Ali G., whose interviews included Donald Trump and Newt Gingrich.

Palin claims that she participated in what she thought was a legitimate Showtime documentary honoring American soldiers, but was actually a prank where Baron Cohen presented himself as a disabled veteran and subjected her to "Hollywoodism's [sic] disrespect and sarcasm" before she walked out.

She is challenging Baron Cohen and Showtime to donate proceeds from the show to a veterans' charity.
