Real Madrid to reignite interest in Chelsea ‘keeper Courtois

According to the same story, the Blues won't resume negotiations with the Belgium global over a new deal for at least another week following his participation in the World Cup.

Chelsea star Eden Hazard is reportedly interested in a move to Real Madrid and will reject any approach by Spanish champions Barcelona to sign him this summer.

La Liga giants Real Madrid are monitoring the 27 year old's situation and eye Hazard as the heir to Cristiano Ronaldo who departed for Juventus this week.

Website Football.London is reporting that the Blues are looking at the Brazil worldwide as a favorable candidate to fill Courtois' boots should the Belgian force through a move.

And although Zinedine Zidane stepped down after the Champions League final, to be replaced by Julen Lopetegui, Hazard is still open to joining Madrid.

"Does Real make me dream less without Zidane?" .

And what Hazard's camp have told Barca is pretty interesting. "As I've said 100 times before, I'm very happy at Chelsea".

"Zidane or no Zidane, the white jersey [of Real] is special but the blue jersey suits me well so it does not bother me if I stay".

Despite winning the Premier League in his debut season and the FA Cup in the last campaign, Conte has never been popular with owner Roman Abramovich and he's repeatedly clashed with the management over transfer dealings.

Last season, Hazard said that he meant to wait to see who the Blues will bring in before deciding whether to sign a long-term contract extension.
