The leaks for Mi A2 have been around for a while now, but the company is taking a little longer to launch the smartphone, although the difference is only in the software.

That's similar to what happened previous year with the Mi 5X and Mi A1.

Now, a live image of the Mi A2 has appeared on SlashLeaks, which shows the phone's display turned on, revealing details about key specs of the device.

We already know that the Xiaomi Mi A2 will essentially be the Mi 6X but, with stock Android.

The Xiaomi Mi A2 is one of the most anticipated budget smartphones in India. No indication was provided about the venue, date, and time of the event.

Reportedly, the Mi A2 was listed on a Swiss website earlier, but the listing was taken down. The massive phablet was recently spotted at TENAA, the Chinese regulatory agency, a clear evidence that the Mi Max 3 will soon be made official.

It's unsurprisingly a stock look, and the prototype in the picture is running Android 8.1 Oreo with the May security patches included. The smartphone is expected to run on Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 processor with4GB and 6GB RAM.

In terms of optics, the Mi A2 bears a vertically stacked dual rear camera setup, with a 12-megapixel primary sensor. On the front, the smartphone is expected to get a 20-megapixel sensor for selfies and video calling. The device will be backed up by a 3010 mAh battery accompanied by Quick Charge 3.0.
