Jack Wilshire joins West Ham on three year deal

Riyad Mahrez will finally complete his £60m record move to Manchester City this week, after it emerged he is not attending Leicester's training camp in France.

Mahrez was the subject of four failed bids from Manchester City in the mid-season transfer window and, after a move to the Etihad did not materialise he missed training for over a week, with the Algeria global forced to deny going AWOL.

The Premier League champions were on the verge of sealing Mahrez's deal in the winter, but the Foxes insisted on recouping about £100m for their prized asset.

Do you think Mahrez can be a success for City?

The 27-year-old has signed a five-year contract will wear the No 26 shirt.

City director of football Txiki Begiristain is confident Mahrez will prove a valuable addition as the champions look to mount a successful defence of their Premier League title and succeed in Europe.

"Riyad is a hugely talented player". Pep is committed to playing attacking football, which is a flawless for me, and City's performances last season were outstanding.

Mahrez joined Leicester from Le Havre for £400,000 in 2014, and was named the PFA Players' Player of the Year during their surprise Premier League triumph in 2015-16. "We're sure he will bring additional attacking quality to our squad".

The club wished him all the best in his new adventure.

Interestingly, the Algerian was back in Leicester's good books as he netted four more goals for the Foxes, taking his total goals to 39 goals from 139 top flight games for the King Power dwellers.
