Houseguest accused of biting off part of woman’s nose, swallowing it

The victim, identified as Tatiana by KTRK says she and her next-door, along with Jessica Collins, 41, went out to a Houston-area bar last Wednesday.

According to Tatiana, when she told Collins to leave her property, Collins jumped her and allegedly bit off a large piece of Tatiana's nose and swallowed it. In response, Collins allegedly bit the woman's nose off and swallowed it.

Tatiana said one of the only things she remembers from the incident was the "taste of blood in [her] mouth". Collins, seen at right, was released from custody after posting $1000 bond on the misdemeanor charge.

Collins, who lives in Conroe, another Houston suburb, was staying with a female neighbor of the 28-year-old victim. "I don't have a nose anymore", she said. Collins demanded more cigarettes and alcohol. "I mean, it does happen", said Constable Mark Herman with the Harris County Constable's Office.

The woman, who needs emergency plastic surgery, told KTRK that she tried to fight off Collins, "but I couldn't".

"I've seen a lot, I've seen other parts bit off".

In an interview with local reporters, the alleged victim said she has been traumatized and has trouble leaving her bedroom since the the attack. "This case here is probably the first we've had in probably four or five years, but it does happen".

The suspect then allegedly dug her teeth in Tatiana's nose, biting off a large piece and consuming it.

'The doctor is requesting payment upfront, ' the victim's friend said in a statement on the crowdfunding page to help with medical costs.

The woman was told that she will need plastic surgery to fix her nose.
