Eden Hazard makes huge statement on Chelsea future amid Real Madrid rumours

According to a report from ESPN, Hazard was recently interviewed by beIN Sports and was asked to comment on the Real Madrid rumours.

Olivier Giroud speaks glowingly of Kylian Mbappe and Chelsea teammate Eden Hazard before France and Belgium lock horns in their World Cup semifinal.

Ronaldo, whose World Cup campaign with Portugal was ended in the last 16 by Uruguay just under two weeks ago, hinted after May's Champions League final victory over Liverpool that he was considering leaving the Santiago Bernabeu.

Ronaldo won two La Liga titles and four Champions League crowns with Real after joining from Manchester United in 2009 for a then world-record fee of £80 million ($94 million). Despite the uncertainty, Hazard is clear that for now, he is happy in West London.

That leaves another Premier League star in Eden Hazard as a mentioned option, though his already sky-high value will only grow larger if Belgium prevail in Russian Federation.

"Now, it is me watching his videos from time to time, and I have a lot of respect for him and what he is doing. As I have said at least 100 times, I am at Chelsea and for the moment nobody has made me an offer". "We have never seen this [quick development] in modern football".

"It is true that [Zidane] is special, but Madrid makes everyone dream".

"Zidane or no Zidane, the white jersey [of Madrid] is special but the blue jersey [of Chelsea] suits me well so it does not bother me if I stay".

He will also be hoping to take the lead later this year in his personal race with Barcelona forward Lionel Messi for most Ballon d'Or awards, although fans will now have fewer on-field battles between the two to enjoy. The Portuguese has mainly stood out for his goals with Los Blancos, and for all of Hazard's abilities, he's not someone who routinely scores 25 goals or more per season. "But in terms of potential, he definitely can win it, he may even deserve it now".
