Demi Moore jokes about marriage to Bruce Willis at comedy roast

The upcoming Comedy Central Roast of Bruce Willis got a surprise guest in none other than the guest of honor's ex-wife, Demi Moore.

"(I was) married to Bruce for the first three Die Hard movies, which makes sense because the last two sucked", she said. "People wonder why our marriage came to an end, and in all honesty I think it was because some jealousy started to creep in".

The 55-year-old made some softer jokes about her ex-husband and father to her daughters, Rumer, Scout and Tallulah, thanking Willis for "some of the best times of my life". Bruce, don't be so hard on yourself, you had much bigger failures. "It was Demi Moore".

However, she distinguished herself as the only one of the roasters to have been Wednesday to Willis, and gleefully skewered their marriage.

Other comedians on the docket for the roast, hosted by "Looper" co-star Joseph Gordon-Levitt, included celebs like Edward Norton, Cybill Shepherd, Jeff Ross, Martha Stewart, Lil Rel Howery, Kevin Pollak, Nikki Glaser and Dom Irrera.

During her set, Moore joked about Willis' age, bald head, his music, and his Die Hard films - and she was not afraid to touch on their failed marriage. After the roast, Willis told reporters her performance was "terrific...very surprising and very cool", and he was just as shocked as the audience about her appearance.

In a report from The Hollywood Reporter, Dennis supposedly said Bruce Willis and Kim were similar, in the sense that they both made bomb movies, "but Kim at least is smart enough not to release his".

"There is one actor who successfully played me".

"The Roast Of Bruce Willis" airs on Comedy Central in the U.S. on July 29th.
