Frye was traded by the Cavs in February to the Los Angeles Lakers.

Love and Frye were teammates in Cleveland for three seasons and won the National Basketball Association title together in 2016.

"C'mon Kevin Love", James commented on the photo.

Yahoo Sports first reported the move.

Frye is a 13-year National Basketball Association vet, who has averaged 9 points per game for his career. The Cavs acquired him at the trade deadline in 2016.

He was an immediate hit in the locker room and on the Cavs' bench, playing a key role in their run up to the Finals.

Frye will come off the bench and play mostly as as stretch five behind Tristan Thompson, although he can get some time at the four (where the Cavs are now a little thin). But with the Lakers stated goal of building a team with more versatility, they may have just figured Frye wasn't multi-dimensional enough.

At 6-foot-11, Frye hasn't averaged double-figure scoring since the 2013-2014 season. That's right folks, LeBron Jam. The Cavaliers still have restricted free agent Rodney Hood unsigned and are now $11.9 million below the tax.

The Cleveland Cavaliers signed former Arizona Wildcat Channing Frye to a one-year, $2.4 million contract over the weekend. The contract for White has $750K guaranteed if the forward is not waived by August 5. One year later, mission accomplished. It means they can match any offer Hood gets on the open market, which they appear content to do when that time comes.

Now, after leaving the team, the Cleveland legend is returning "home".

Zizic, 21, is traveling to his hometown of Split, Croatia, to watch the game.

The No. 8 pick in the 2005 NBA Draft, Frye has had a storied NBA career.
