The new leak reveals an iPhone X Plus that not only packs a larger 6.5-inch screen than the current 5.8-inch model but more cameras too. This is the model that will carry a 6.5-inch edge-to-edge OLED display, powered by a 7nm A12 SoC.

Apple iPhone X Plus schematics leaked: The iPhone X Plus could come with a triple-rear camera configuration, as per a Forbes report.

"Kuo believes that Apple may release three iPhones in fall 2018 - a relatively affordable 6.1-inch LCD iPhone, a new 5.8-inch OLED flagship (perhaps the iPhone X2) and a 6.5-inch OLED "iPhone Plus" model", CNET reported on Sunday.

However, the XI Plus is said to have a steel chassis, rather than an aluminum one, likely making it heavier than the 202g iPhone 8 Plus.

Finally, according to Gordon Kelly, the 6.5-inch iPhone will indeed have a triple camera.

Another factor that deems the 6.1-inch iPhone "budget" is the fact that it will lose 3D Touch - we don't expect many tears to be shed over this. That being said, the design seems to be a direct copy of the iPhone X, complete with the notch and associated sensors for FaceID. And as seen on the schematics, the low-end iPhone will be equipped with a single camera on back. Though this is not a new concept in smartphones as Huawei's P20 Pro already has a triple rear camera setup, for iPhones, this will be a first. On the other hand, the 5.5-inch iPhone X with 5.8-inch display is expected to be priced between $800-$900. The schematics also show a comparatively smaller notch with rumors about Face ID 2.0 hardware.

The schematics were obtained by Forbes from accessory maker Ghostek, so they're not necessarily Apple's own schematics, but there's a fair chance Ghostek does have access to design information, since it will need that in order to have cases ready for the launch of the iPhone XI range.
