Royal couple Harry and Meghan coming to Australia in October

Royal couple Harry and Meghan coming to Australia in October

Over the weekend, Meghan Markle made her first appearance on the famed Buckingham Palace balcony, and Prince Harry was by her side to help calm her nerves.

They were first pictured together at the opening ceremony for the event in Toronto a year ago, and they cheered on competitors hoping to be chosen for the British team for Sydney a month before they were married.

The Invictus Games, which will feature 500 athletes from 18 nations, begin in October.

And it seems Meghan needed some reassurance on timings, quickly whispering to Harry, "Say when", referring to when to bow to the Queen as she drove past.

Most recently, Meghan wowed in another pale pink number for the annual Trooping the Colour parade in honor of the queen's birthday.

Prince Harry and his new bride Meghan will visit Australia in October during their first official overseas tour, Kensington Palace has announced.

Adorably, Prince Harry also gave Meghan a helping hand when it came to the all-important curtsey in front of the Queen.

Later this week, the Duchess of Sussex will travel by train with the Queen to Northwest England to carry out a full day of engagements in Cheshire. After all, it is a huge responsibility being a Duchess, and although Meghan boasted a refined sense of fashion even in her acting days, it is a different ball game when you are part of the royal family. One Twitter user commented saying, "Can Meghan Markle for once just follow protocol and not show her shoulders or push the limits?!"

"I do feel her choice of an off the shoulder dress was pushing it for HRH Queen Elizabeth's Birthday celebration", wrote another on social media.

Meanwhile, while Meghan is in work mode, Kate Middleton, 36, is spending her summer maternity leave having fun.

On the sidelines, Charlotte did handstands, danced in a pair of sunglasses and ran around the pitch with her big brother.

The Duchess was also invited to Sandringham for Christmas previous year, an honour usually reserved for those who are married into the family.
