Prince George and Princess Charlotte Play During Prince William's Polo Match

The duchess attending the event was a surprise, so fans were delighted when she joined the match with George and Charlotte.

Prince William took part in a charity polo game on Sunday, but it was Prince George and Princess Charlotte who demanded the spotlight.

However, several people on Twitter have shared their outrage as one of the toys Prince George was playing with was a toy gun.

Prince George and Princess Charlotte had some fun in the sun as they cheered on their dad playing polo.

Charlotte, 3, wearing a pink sundress and adorable sunnies, was spotted running around barefoot on the field with her brother and practising her tumbles.

Down-to-earth Princess Diana, in a flowing white dress, wowed the crowds as she threw her arms up in the air to celebrate coming first against fellow mothers.

Kate, dressed in a light blue Zara dress and Russell & Bromley wedges, kept a watchful eye on the children, consoling a tearful George at one point.

Prince William and Kate Middleton's third child, Prince Louis, was noticeably absent from Saturday's event and Sunday's outing.

The royals were joined by their cousin, the now infamous Savannah Phillips, who shushed George on the balcony of Buckingham Palace just one day earlier during the Queen's 92nd birthday celebrations.

It looks as though the toy gun came as part of a classic "police set" as the youngsters can also be seen with a plastic baton and some handcuffs and Prince George is known to have a fascination with the police and emergency services.

George on the other hand was less than impressed after his older cousin, Savannah Phillips, stole his moment.
