Brazil scored three superbly-taken goals, including a stunning Neymar effort, to beat feisty Austria 3-0 in sweltering conditions on Sunday and put the finishing touches to their impressive World Cup preparation.

The Paris Saint-Germain superstar endured some heavy challenges on his first start since suffering a broken metatarsal at the end of February and scored a delightful solo goal in the 63rd minute in between Gabriel Jesus' opener and Philippe Coutinho's stylish third.

World champions Germany, seeking to equal Brazil's record of five World Cup wins, will land in Russian Federation on Tuesday, along with Gareth Southgate's youthful England side.

The Selecao will be favourites to progress and with Neymar back fit and firing will believe anything is possible.

Manchester City striker Jesus also insisted Tite's side are ready for the tournament. "When we release him in the last third of the field, he's lethal". Similar fouls were committed by Florian Grillitsch in the 35th and Sebatian Proedl in the 53rd.

Before departing to Russia, Brazil defeated Austria 3:0 in a friendly match.

The most extreme examples were the Confederations Cup final against Spain in 2013 when Brazil battered their opponents with 26 fouls and the infamous World Cup quarter-final against Colombia in 2014, where they gave away 31 free kicks.

However, Tite had midfielder Fred left off the team after he hurt his right ankle in training on Thursday. "I do not even know the limit of Neymar", Tite told reporters afterwards.

He will lead the line for Brazil at the World Cup and Tite wouldn't have any second thoughts about that after today. Imagine watching that goal as a Switzerland, Costa Rica or Serbia player. It saw a seven-match winning streak, including victories over World Cup host Russian Federation and world champion Germany, come to an end.
