New PS4 SPIDER-MAN Footage Shows All-Star Villain Brawl

Well, that felt a little bit odd, didn't it?

A brand new Spider-Man PS4 trailer has been released, with the web-slinger being showcased during the Sony E3 2018 event and hinting at the inclusion of the Sinister Six. The fighting mechanics look to be ripped directly from Batman: Arkham Knight, complete with the "Fear" mechanic appearing as Spider-Man's "Spider Sense" moments. Great in concept, and with space for third party announcements between, it's hard to say that Sony managed to pull it off.

At E3 this year, along with titles like Death Stranding and The Last Of Us 2, Sony gave us another glimpse of the game. For now, this is what we know about Ghost of Tsushima.

That doesn't mean that these games don't look excellent, though. It was impressive and the flawless demo for a game that is surely at the top of many people's wish lists. We'll find out when Spider-Man hits PS4 on September 7. Besides being a big fan of the aesthetic, the game has the pedigree of being developed by Sucker Punch Productions.

While we're not sure if the Avengers themselves exist as NPCs or playable characters of any sort in the game itself, we can confirm at the very least that they are in the game in-universe and exist as entities within the game world. And it ends on a cliffhanger, teasing a secret character reveal.

None of these games were given release dates, they weren't even given release years, and only the fourth game of the bunch, Spider-Man, is in the final stages of development. The demo also showed a thrilling sequence where Spider-Man chases Electro outside the prison facility.

Starring the world's most iconic Super Hero, Spider-Man features the acrobatic abilities, improvisation and web-slinging that the wall-crawler is famous for, while also introducing elements never-before-seen in a Spider-Man game.
