Mystery solved: IHOb reveals what name change means

The restaurant chain famous for pancakes will still serve flapjacks, but now it's serving steakburgers beginning today.

On June 11, the company announced they've changed their name to IHOB for burgers.

"We're flippin' from pancakes, pancakes, pancakes to burgers, burgers, burgers", a Facebook post read. "But these are new 'Ultimate Steakburgers", the website stated, with "all-natural, 100 percent USDA choice black Angus beef".

Its bio was changed to "Burgers so burgerin' good, we changed our name to IHOb".

As for the restaurant's name change, IHOP said its new moniker will be in effect for "the time being".

In the week since, Twitter users speculated that the restaurants might be changing its name to reflect new menus more focused on bacon, blueberries or brunch. It ends with the company's new logo and the message Burgers Burgers Burgers. Starting at $6.99, folks can get one of their new burgers with a drink and endless fries.
