Devil May Cry 5 Announced For Next Year

During the Xbox presentation, Devil May Cry 5 took the stage and teased a very exciting direction for the franchise.

Capcom gave us our first look at Devil May Cry 5 at the Xbox E3 conference.

Almost 10 years after Devil May Cry 4, the next game will finally conclude the Sons of Sparda saga. The game looks to be a continuation of the series from Devil May Cry 4, with Nero and Dante once again making a return. It's promised that Devil May Cry 5 will have unbelievable gameplay, which is good because nobody likes awful gameplay. It is being developed by Capcom under the direction of series veteran Hideki Itsuno. Best of all, the trailer ended with a shot of O.G. protagonist Dante riding on a motorcycle, which is really all you need to make a good Devil May Cry trailer, if I'm being totally honest. Things must be settled once and for all. "Years have passed since the legions of hell have set foot in this world, but now a new demonic invasion has begun, and humanity's last hope will rest in the hands of three lone demon hunters, each offering a radically different play style".

Capcom's proprietary in-house RE Engine ensures that with Devil May Cry 5, the series continues to achieve new heights in fidelity, featuring ground-breaking graphics that utilize photorealistic character designs and stunning lighting and environmental effects.
