Dead or Alive 6: Reveal Trailer and Release Date

Sporting a brand-new engine and full support for modern consoles, it's time to get excited again for Ryu Hayabusa, Zack, and ground-breaking jiggle-physics pioneer Kasumi. Team Ninja are hoping to make DoA 6 a much more painful-looking, down-and-dirty affair. "But times have changed, so when Shimbori came to me with the idea to implement meters, I thought the idea would work in a modern game".

Dead or Alive 6 is coming to PS4, Xbox One and PC in 2019. We had so many heated discussions about this during development of DOA5, but today the landscape is different.

Anyway, you can check out the new trailer for the game below.

Dead or Alive 6 has officially been revealed via this incredible trailer. The game will seek to be more realistic, though over the top elements will still be present. To compensate though, characters are given more facial expressions and physical wounds when constantly attacked. Unfortunately, there isn't anything even resembling a complete roster out just yet, but we should be seeing plenty of familiar faces and even a smattering of new characters, if we're lucky. Addressing the Dead or Alive 6 lineup, producer Toei Shimbor confirmed that players can expect a mix of returning favorites in addition to new, never-before-seen characters.

Perhaps this is unfair, but I associate the Dead or Alive beat 'em series with scantily clad female characters-be that in an official or unofficial capacity.
