CBS report: Sarah Huckabee Sanders planning to depart the White House

White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders is planning to leave her job by the end of the year, according to a new report from CBS. CBS News White House reporter Jacqueline Alemany joins CBSN to talk about her exclusive report.

In a Wednesday night Tweet, Sanders asked if CBS - the network that first reported the news - knew something she didn't know. "I love my job and am honored to work for @POTUS". The report also said that principal deputy press secretary Raj Shah was planning to leave his position in the Trump administration. Sanders is expected to leave before the end of the year, according to the report.

Sanders took over briefing duties full-time from Sean Spicer after he resigned.

However, Sanders disputed the story and said CBS never asked her if she was planning on leaving.

Numerous staffers have left the Trump administration over the course of the last several months including Homeland Security adviser Tom Bossert; Communications Director Hope Hicks; and National Security Council spokesman Michael Anton.

Even with a smaller than usual workforce, the Trump Administration's White House set a record in turnover rates, which now stands at 51 percent and President Donald Trump isn't even half-way through his first term in office.
