Cavs Will Explore This Kevin Love Trade To Keep LeBron James

"The one thing that I've always done is consider my family, understanding especially where my boys are at this point in their age". He owns a home in Brentwood, Calif., and his eldest son, LeBron, Jr., will turn 14 later this year.

Despite spending much of the second half of the regular season rehabbing a broken bone in his left (non-shooting) hand, Love finished 2017-2018 with his second-best stat line since joining the Cavaliers, as he averaged 17.6 points and 9.3 rebounds per game. I've got a teenage boy, a pre-teen and a little girl that wasn't around as well.

They won't have anything to lose since King James will not return to Cleveland next season unless they make more roster changes, which translate into getting rid of Smith. Oladipo averaged 22.7 points and 8.3 rebounds per game last season after joining IN as part of the Paul George trade. Reality was on full display: The Cavaliers are further from being able to compete with the Warriors than Cleveland is from Oakland.

So is that the reason why the betting site, and countless others have the Sixers as one of the favorites to win it all next season?

Where will James go next? James being from Akron and spurning the Cavaliers is why those 16 words spoken in 2010 - "This fall I'm going to take my talents to South Beach and join the Miami Heat" - stung like a serpent's bite.

Maybe it was poetic LeBron James had a supporting cast on his injured right hand. He was a rental in Miami and that's what he would be in Houston or Philadelphia.

With James able to opt out of the final year of his contract and no hint of whether he may stay with his hometown team or again leave the Cavaliers to pursue National Basketball Association championships with another organization in better position to compete against the Warriors, there are plenty of questions to be answered in the coming weeks.

Fans should prepare for bad news, though, because he likes championships even more.

Utah Jazz - Donovan Mitchell became one of the most entertaining players in the league as a rookie this season, and Utah has a number of intriguing players surrounding him.

Sheridan is pretty plugged in and he's certainly has the credentials, I just don't know how you can write someone is leaving and have no idea where they're going. Over the course of his postgame press conference, James reiterated that he's still in "championship mode", a potential problem for a Cleveland team coming off a sweep to the NBA's most talented team.
