Sunrisers Hyderabad vs Chennai Super Kings Live Cricket Score T20 Match Today

Chennai Super Kings, leading by Mahendra Singh Dhoni, would like to book their place in the playoffs of the 11th edition of the Indian Premier League by winning a game against Sunrisers Hyderabad at their second home ground Maharashtra Cricket Stadium in Pune on Sunday.

CSK, which came in to chase down a big target of 180 runs, got off to a fantastic start as openers Rayudu and Shane Watson added 134 runs for the first wicket off only 81 balls. Rayudu capped a remarkable turnaround of a season with his maiden T20 hundred, and Watson fell for 57 off 35.

But after the first four overs when CSK conceded 48 runs, it was Dhoni who made some good bowling changes in his bid to slow the pace of the game.

The evergreen Dhoni: In 12 innings in this tournament, MS Dhoni has finished not out eight times and now has 413 runs at an average of 103.30.

Chennai Super Kings head coach Stephen Fleming also praised Buttler for his match-winning knock, saying the English batsman was a class apart.

The Sunrisers, who have already qualified for the play-offs, remained on top of the table with 18 points from 12 matches while CSK are at second spot with 16 points from the same number of matches. Rashid Khan bowled a fine spell giving away only 25 runs, though, he could not get any wickets. Sunrise's strength is touring around their bowling Dept.

In reply to Chennai's 176-4, Buttler's third consecutive half-century helped Rajasthan make 177-6 with a ball to spare. Their batting mainly centers around the skipper - Williamson - who has repeatedly dug them out of troubled waters, scoring six half-centuries so far in IPL 2018.

The hosts struck early with the wicket of Alex Hales but from there skipper Williamson and opener Dhawan took charge of things with a 123-run stand for the second wicket. He was struggling and was playing at a score of 2 runs after 9 balls.

On the other hand, Sunrisers Hyderabad is enjoying the success of its last matches. It was as if Rayudu had his plans to go after SRH's lead bowlers as he took Siddarth Kaul down in his opening over, hitting him for two fours and a six. Harbhajan gave way 26 runs from his two overs, while Jadeja leaked 24 from the same number of overs.

Rayudu nearly played a second fiddle to Shane Watson in the powerplay overs before taking on Siddarth Kaul in the 7th over where he earned 16 runs and got the momentum going his way. Just as the table toppers looked set for a big total, CSK bounced back by sending both the set batsmen back to the pavilion.

A wicket at that point would have reduced Chennai to 143 for three with 37 needed from 28 balls.
