Rolls-Royce Cullinan leaked before official unveil

On its YouTube page, Rolls-Royce has been taking a camouflaged Cullinan off-road across Scotland, the United Arab Emirates, and the a new video series.

It's a pretty taillight, and I imagine the rest of the Cullinan will match that assessment.

Rolls Royce has been very secretive about the car's specifics, just sharing a few elements such as the "Viewing Platform" - two leather seats and a cocktail table that folds out from the boot. Now, we finally get an idea of what's 'round back.

Rolls-Royce Motor Cars will bring its first SUV, the Cullinan, to the global market Thursday at an event that will be streamed live over the internet. The teaser shows a taillight, and that's about it.

The Cullinan will be revealed in all its glory on May 10, 2018.

Rolls-Royce isn't saying much else about its new mud plugger, not least what will actually power it, although the firm's familiar 6.6-litre V12 (which produces between 420kW and 465kW in other Rolls-Royce models) would be a logical choice.

Keep your eyes peeled to Roadshow in the coming days for more teasers and, eventually, actual information and pictures of Rolls-Royce's mega-posh SUV.

Set to share its namesake's imposing size, the Cullinan will come based on the all-aluminium spaceframe chassis that's already in service beneath the recently launched Phantom.
