Official trailer of Queen biopic starring Rami Malek as Freddie Mercury released

USA actor Rami Malek's transformation into the legendary Freddie Mercury is simply astounding to see and the trailer, clocking in at a little over a minute, shows the United Kingdom band in the early stages all the way through to playing stadiums.

The film, titled Bohemian Rhapsody after the Queen classic, has been highly anticipated since its inception in 2010, but has also made plenty of headlines for the production problems it's suffered.

The film apparently doesn't take any shortcuts to their success, though, covering some of the ups and downs that they encountered while trying to get some of their unconventional songs produced and out to the general public.

The project further hit a roadblock after director Bryan Singer, was sacked after reportedly taking too much time off for "health concerns". Fans can check out Bohemian Rhapsody from November 1.

The film, about the life and times of Freddie Mercury (played by iRobot's Rami Maleck) and his legendary British rock band bears an uncanny resemblance to true life.

The band, fronted by iconic vocalist Freddie Mercury, rose to fame in the 80s before Mercury's death in 1991 from a complication of AIDS.
