Mohamed Salah more hard to stop than Messi, says Rafael Benítez

Messi told TyC Sports on Tuesday that "it would be bad, for all that Ney means to Barcelona". The numbers that he does season in, season out are absolutely unbelievable, but come May 26 we'll be looking to stop him and the rest of Real Madrid.

"Although [Neymar's time in Barcelona] ended the way it did, he won important titles here, he won the Champions League, he won La Liga".

Following his exploits at Liverpool this season, a section of football pundits and connoisseurs have insisted that Salah can match Ronaldo and Messi to break their dominance as the FIFA World Best Player for the past decade but Asamoah who has been hugely linked to Inter Milan has other ideas.

Cristiano Ronaldo and Dani Carvajal have returned to full team training with Real Madrid .

"I don't compete with Cristiano", Messi said.

"It's not an objective to be the best in history".

"I fight to win everything, I do not need to go anywhere else to prove anything".

Liverpool will have to cope with five-time Ballon d'Or victor and four-time Champions League victor Ronaldo if they are to lift the trophy for a sixth time, though, and 19-year-old Alexander-Arnold admits that it will be an "honour" to face one of the game's all-time greats.

Mohamed Salah has recently won the Premier League Player of the Season award as well as the Golden Boot after scoring 32 goals in 36 league games.

In an interview with TyCSports, Messi opened up on discussions he's had with Neymar.

And former Liverpool and Real Madrid boss Rafael Benítez has made a big claim about Mohamed Salah ahead of the Champions League final.
