Man Threatens to Call ICE on Restaurant Staff, Customer Who Spoke Spanish

Suazo said the two women were ordering lunch, and speaking Spanish with a worker helping them, when the creep butted in. That video has been viewed more than 3 million times on Facebook.

"My guess is they (the employees) are not documented", he says.

"If you're running a place in midtown Manhattan, the people should be speaking English, not Spanish".

In response to one of the women who mocked him off camera, the man apparently retorted that maybe she shouldn't eat the sandwich she was holding and should "take a break from the food".

Someone watching yells out, "Yeah, it is America!" possibly as a reminder to the man.

"He's screaming at the guy serving him, 'Give me my f***ing sandwich, you shouldn't be speaking Spanish, I feel disrespected, go back to your country", recalls the woman, born in NY of Puerto Rican parents. "I just looked at him and said, "You're very ignorant, '" she said".

The ranting customer lambasted the manager of Fresh Kitchen on Madison Avenue for allowing his staff to speak Spanish in "my country" and raged about "paying for their welfare". I paid for their welfare, I paid for their ability to be here.

The fuming man then informed the manager that he planned to follow up by contacting U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement for a possible raid on the restaurant. Many have called on the New York State Bar Association to review his actions and take action if necessary.

The man threatens to call immigration authorities and also insults the employee on her physical appearance. "I wish someone tells me I can't speak in my native language!"

"Aaron Schlossberg" was the fifth ranked trending topic on Twitter in the NY area Wednesday evening. "First of all they wasn't talking to you".

An online fund-raiser, launched by a man named Mark Goldberg, collected almost $800 to rent a mariachi band Thursday to play "La Cucaracha" "to cheer up the staff and attorneys at The Law Office of Aaron M. Schlossberg Esq. after a hard day".

Newsweek reached out to Suazo and Fresh Kitchen for comment but did not hear back in time for publication.

The videotaped portion of Schlossberg's volcanic tirade began with the lawyer lecturing the store manager about bilingual workers speaking in Spanish. "Your law career in New York City is officially over".
