Israel's massacre in Gaza reaches Cannes red carpet

She posed on the red carpet for the Blackkklansman screening in a stylish pair of black Christian Louboutin stilettos and once her photos were done, she chose to take her heels off and walk barefooted on the red carpet.

As reported by the Telegraph, Kristen Stewart was attending the premiere of her movie BlacKkKlansman when she made a decision to ditch her black Louboutins and walk up the stairs barefoot.

A short film, 'Raaya', about an autistic girl has been chosen as India's official entry into the Cannes Film Festival 2018.

Even though multiple Cannes officials have denied that the high heel policy exists, Kristen Stewart seemingly believes that it does.

"If you're not asking guys to wear heels and a dress, you can't ask me either", she stated emphatically at the time. Although, she struggled to walk in the lavish dress and got her heel caught on the trail.

"You just can't ask me to do something that you're not asked to do man". Lebanese actress Manal Issa stood up in front of the world protesting against the innocent deaths in Gaza.

"There's definitely a distinct dress code, right?" she told the Hollywood Reporter. We shouldn't be wearing high heels anyway. With Nawazuddin Siddiqui-starrer Manto leading the Indian releases which will be shown at the prestigious film festival, Bollywood divas are making heads turn on the red carpet.

Stewart isn't the first person to take her shoes off on the red carpet since then, with Julia Roberts going barefoot at Cannes in 2016 at the premiere for Money Monster. That same year, Footwear News reported that Kristen Stewart removed another pair of Louboutin pumps and walked across a lawn during a Cannes photo call.
