Honor launch the Honor 10 - offering you

Huawei's sub-brand Honor has launched its 2018 flagship Honor 10 smartphone at a price of Rs 32,999. This is a nice addition as opposed to taking that decision while composing the photograph, as it helps you quickly decide while reviewing your photos whether to keep the AI activated ones.

The Honor 10 and Huawei P20 both have a glass back and both have a similar color-changing trick, as certain shades of these phones will shift between colors depending on the light and angle you hold them at.

The colour variants are also very interesting with the Honor 10.

The View 10 has a bright, LCD display, and a notch.

Interestingly, the Honor 10 has an industry first ultrasonic fingerprint sensor located under the glass, which allows users to use the sensor even when their fingers are wet.

Huawei makes some killer Android smartphones, and the P20 family that was unveiled earlier this year are no exception. Dimension wise it measures 158.3 x 76.7 x 7.8mm and weighs 164g.

Honor is pitching the Honor 10 with the tagline: "Beauty in AI". The company has confirmed it will feature a small notch, which has led many to assume its aspect ratio will increase to 19:9. For now, here are my first impressions of the Honor 10 smartphone.

Internally, the latest premium smartphone from Honor is powered by a Hi-Silicon Kirin 970 processor. That's a high-end chipset, so you can expect solid performance from either phone. The device is backed by a 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.

The Honor 10 comes runs Android 8.1 Oreo out-of-the-box with a layer of EMUI on top. You should probably be happy to know that it's capable of shooting up to 22 different object and sceneries, what's more, honor will add in more via OTA updates in the near future.

The Honor 10 is equipped with a dual camera system on the rear - it has a 16MP lens working in tandem with a 24MP lens so you can take pictures with bokeh effects. In the photography department, Honor 10 sports a dual-camera setup at the rear which includes a 16-megapixel and 24-megapixel sensors. The camera has a pretty large aperture of f/1.8 and also comes with AI integration.

Apart from the display, the main highlighting feature of the Honor 10 is shooting prowess. The front-camera only records 1080P videos at 30fps. The bundled charger supports fast charging as well.

This morning the Honor 10 was revealed in full, complete with release details and pricing too. So the Huawei P20 is a fair bit more expensive. "That's what we work hard for everyday at Honor", said George Zhao, President of Honor.
