Google Might Unveil its Own Smartwatch with the Pixel 3 This Year

One would hope that the three models of Google Pixel Watch would be well-refined and work with top-notch hardware after such an enormous amount of time between the birth of Wear OS and today.

It's worth noting that, in the past, Blass' various claims and leaks have often been proved accurate - particularly when it comes to major flagship products like the Pixel range and the Samsung's Galaxy and Galaxy Note devices. After all, Google did say that's why it killed the 3.5mm headphone jack previous year, but it'll be a while until we see an actual Pixel 3 image leak to know for sure. "Have a great summer!"

The obvious device launches for Google this year will be the Google Pixel 3, Google Pixel 3 XL and second generation Pixel buds.

Also, it is not just coincidence that Qualcomm yesterday announced that it was going to be replacing the abysmal 28nm Snapdragon Wear 2100 SoC with something more capable and efficient.

Update: Roland Quandt, a Berlin-based device leaker, has added to the Pixel smartwatch rumour, specifically stating that there will be three smartwatches from Google coming down the pipe.

Despite several high profile partnerships with worldwide fashion brands, Google's WearOS (previously called Android Wear) has lost significant ground in the wearables to both rival Apple and fitness-brands like Fitbit. The devices' rumoured codenames are "Triton", "Ling" and "Sardine".
