The new patch also increases the text size in the game's user interface and menus, as well as the ability to remap which buttons enable Rage Mode. You can check out some images captured using the new mode in the gallery below. With ideal review scores all around the world and many seeing the revamped franchise's praises, the crew over at Santa Monica did a phenomenal job making us love Kratos even more.

The God of War photo mode is now available for players to make use of as they travel across the Nine Realms, allowing players to immortalize particularly awesome shots or moments to put on their social media.

There's a lot more to God of War 's Photo Mode than simply taking screenshots. Instead of making Photo Mode a priority, though, Barlog wanted to ensure that the game itself was as good as it could be, which caused the feature to be pushed to a post-launch addition.

As evidenced in our review of Sony and Santa Monica Studio's action-adventure epic God of War, the PlayStation 4 exclusive is easily one of the best looking games to ever grace a console, as it's environments are diverse, expansive, and filled with a wide range of handsome colors and scenery.

I'm willing to bet that photo mode won't necessarily allow players to move the camera around during hands-off "cutscenes" (you may recall that God of War is one single take from start to finish), but it should still result in some impressive snapshots of our favorite Spartan. Essentially, you can do anything you did in The Last of Us Remastered's photo mode, but in a new setting and with the option to make Kratos make amusing faces.

There are five tabs in the photo mode menu: camera, aperture, filters, borders, and characters. And my personal favourite, we've added the ability to change Kratos and Atreus's facial expressions! Pressing square resets everything. Kratos is a bit too chiseled to ever have that dad bod (can you imagine the Ghost of Sparta with a gut?), and his fashion sense is far and away better than something my own father would choose to wear (Norse themed armor is so hot right now), so that just leaves the dad jokes.
