Embassy Preacher Slammed By Mitt Romney For Bigotry Against Mormons - And Jews

Pastors and Christian leaders from across the country told Breitbart News about the significance of President Donald Trump's announcement in December to move the embassy, which opens officially on Monday, the 70th anniversary of the establishment of the state of Israel. "Today, I am delivering".

Leeanne Naramore of Media Matters for America posted a video showing a compilation of some of Jeffress' most degrading comments. Some support Jerusalem as Israel's capital because they interpret that as being consistent with New Testament prophecies related to the second coming of the Messiah, when Jews, along with other non-Christians, convert or be destroyed.

"People may disagree with that view, but it's not a view unique to me". He said he will thank God for "his faithfulness to Israel for 4,000 years", citing the occasion as another fulfillment of God's promise to Abraham in Genesis 12.

"We thank you, O Lord, for President Donald Trump's courage in acknowledging to the world a truth that was established 3,000 years ago - that Jerusalem is and always shall be the eternal capital of the Jewish people", Hagee said.

Former Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney, who is himself a Mormon, is leading the chorus of criticism against "religious bigot" Robert Jeffress, who will speak in front of Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner on Monday. "Even though culture changes, God's word doesn't change", he told The Dallas Morning News.

Monday's ceremony marking the relocation of the US Embassy in Israel to Jerusalem broke with tradition in more ways than one. He said President Obama is guilty of "paving the way" for the Antichrist. Jews, he believes, are going to hell. A hunter is someone who comes with a gun and he forces you.

"Outside the city of Jerusalem, Jesus Christ was crucified, resurrected from the dead, and when he returns the second time, is going to put his foot on the Mount of Olives in the city of Jerusalem", Hagee said. "Jerusalem is the shoreline of eternity".

Along with backing Netanyahu's government and Trump's embassy move, Jeffress was reported to have vehemently supported the U.S. president during his 2016 campaign as a member of the then presidential candidate's evangelical advisory board.

"This move clearly communicates to the people of Israel that we stand in their defense". And in a statement sure to please the Israelis, he has compared the treatment of Christians in the United States to the Nazi's treatment of Jews right before they launched the Final Solution program to exterminate them.

A church member gave him the two books - "Heather Has Two Mommies" and "Daddy's Roommate" - and then Jeffress sent a $54 check to the library for the cost of the books.
