CBS unveils comedy, drama trailers

CBS' fall schedule unveiled Wednesday includes the return of "Murphy Brown", a "Magnum P.I." reboot, two other new dramas and two new comedies with black leads that will run back-to-back on Mondays.

According to the website, the show's executives confirmed the setup could be compared to the MSNBC's Morning Joe and Fox News' Fox & Friends rivalry.

Eastern Time following the network's top-rated comedy block of "Young Sheldon", "Big Bang Theory" and "Mom".

CBS also reveals trailers for its new series.

The Neighborhood stars New Girl's Max Greenfield as a man who moves his family from the Midwest to a neighborhood in Los Angeles where suddenly not everyone looks the same. Zachary Knighton and Stephen Hill co-star as Magnum's buddies.

Despite the success that ABC has seen with its revival of "Roseanne", CBS isn't getting too far ahead of itself in predicting world-beating success for the return of "Murphy Brown".

Starring Damon Wayans Jr. and Amber Stevens West, "Happy Together" is a comedy about a 30-something happily married couple who begin to reconnect with their younger, cooler selves when Cooper (Felix Mallard), an exuberant young pop star drawn to their super-ordinary suburban life, unexpectedly moves in with them.

Bergen is reuniting with co-stars Faith Ford, Joe Regalbuto and Grant Shaud.

A procedural from "Law & Order" producer Dick Wolf and writer Craig Turk ("The Good Wife") set at the bureau's NY office.

Per The Hollywood Reporter, the former staff of the newsmagazine FYI is now running a morning show on cable, titled Murphy in the Morning. Thursdays. Tyne Daly's joined the cast as the sister of Phil, the bar owner who was played by the late Pat Corley, and Jake McDorman (Limitless) will play Murphy's now-grown son, Avery.

The uplifting series stars Brandon Micheal Hall as Miles Finer, an outspoken atheist whose life is turned upside down and inside-out when he receives a Facebook friend request from God.
