BSNL vs Jio vs Airtel

The recently launched BSNL prepaid unlimited plans offer benefits of 3G data, voice calls and SMS. Indian telecom sector has seen a data war after the arrival of Reliance Jio in 2016.

BSNL's Rs 319 prepaid recharge plan is valid for 90 days.

Other than the data, this new Rs 349 plan from Vodafone India will also offer unlimited voice calls with daily and weekly limitation and 100 SMS per day for 28 days. The extra price offers you a bumped up data package of 1.4GB 4G access per day.

The new Airtel Prepaid plan 129 comes with unlimited calls without any FUP, Daily calling limit or weekly calling limit.

The new Airtel prepaid plan 129 comes with data and free calling. Here are the full details of Airtel prepaid Plan 129. Additionally, this plan offers free caller tunes but there is no mobile data benefit with this plan. Furthermore, users will also get 100 free SMS per day in the plan. This is similar to the recently launched Airtel 219 plan. Unlike the Rs.129 plan, this plan is not as limited in its release and can be availed by more users across India.

Under BSNL's STV (special tariff vouchers) of Rs 99, customers get unlimited local, STD and roaming calls. It has only one difference of validity as Airtel offers validity of 84 days with daily 1 GB free high-speed data.

In the last two months, BSNL has introduced several prepaid plans.

Apart from the ₹349 plan, there's another plan which is priced at ₹348 that offers 2.5 GB of 3G/4G data per day for 28 days. This pack also comes with a validity of 28 days. Moreover, unlike Vodafone's plan, Jio's plan is available to customers across all the circles. Under the Rs. 299 plan, Jio offers 3GB 4G data per day for 28 days. Rest of the benefits includes Free Calls, 100 free SMS per day.

Vodafone has started the plans in order to lure its customer to use their products in a highly competitive market especially ever since the entry of Jio in the teleco playground.
