Backstreet Boys premiere new single Don't Go Breaking My Heart

Video for the song entitled Don't Go Breaking My Heart appeared yesterday on YouTube at midnight and is already gaining views.

They released "Don't Go Breaking My Heart" on Thursday, along with a video that shows the quintet dancing in sync.

Just last month, the boys celebrated their 25th anniversary as a band.

"The minute we heard this song we knew it was special", says Kevin Richardson. When that groove drops on the second verse, COME ON.

Don't Go Breaking My Heart was recorded after the first leg of the group's record-breaking Backstreet Boys: Larger Than Life Las Vegas Residency.

The single was written by Stephen Wrabel (Ellie Goulding) and produced by Stuart Crichton (Kesha) and Jamie Hartman (James Bay).

Howie continued: 'I'm very proud that the record is a little bit of everything - we've got our signature pop melodies and harmonies, and also dabbled into dance, country and R&B while staying true to ourselves'. But, as we all enjoy saying every few years: Backstreet's Back.

The group - whose last album was 2013's In a World Like This - are now planning to tour their new record around the world.

"New Backstreet Boys single and video out now!"
