Xiaomi discontinues its first ever Android One smartphone in India

There will be a 4GB RAM and 32GB version, a 6GB RAM and 64GB variant, and a 6GB RAM and 128GB model. It comes in Polar Night Black and Sky Gray colour options. Black Shark also launched a gamepad peripheral that you can use for games such as PUBG and FortNite, and the company will be launching other accessories soon.

The Xiaomi Mi 6X will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 clocked at a maximum 2.0GHz rather than the standard 2.2GHz. On the exterior design, it's said that the Mi A2 has the same 5.99-inch display with an 18:9 screen-to-body aspect ratio. Instead of MIUI, the Mi A2 will run pure Android, most likely Android 8.1 Oreo. It can apparently help reduce the CPU's core temperature by up to 8-degrees. The phone isn't Xiaomi-branded, but is a project backed by the popular Chinese smartphone maker, and for now has only been launched in China.

- In addition to the Snapdragon 845, the Black Shark gaming phone also packs in a dedicated Pixelworks image processing chip that supports something that the company is calling intelligent motion compensation technology that aids in image enhancement and dark scene detail processing for enhanced gaming experiences. The Black Shark gaming phone will be available for buying in China from April 20. The device can be connected to the phone via Bluetooth and it has a 340 mAh battery which can last up to 30 gaming hours. The smartphone comes with the price tag of 2999 Yuan ($477/ Rs 31,200 approx.) for the 6GB RAM variant and 3499 Yuan ($557/ Rs 36,500 approx.) for the 8GB RAM option.

Battery: 4000mAh (typical) / 3900mAh (minimum) battery with Quick Charge 3.0. As an introductory offer, the first 50,000 buyers will be eligible to get the Shark Gamepad free of cost.

On the camera front, Xiaomi Mi 6X will feature a 12MP sensor with a f/1.8 aperture and 20MP secondary camera with a f/1.8 aperture. On the front, there is a 20MP sensor with 1.0-micron pixel size, f/2.2 aperture for selfies and video calls. The phone also has a fingerprint sensor placed at the bottom of the display. The Xiaomi Mi A1 is backed by a 3,080 mAh battery and offers 4G, VoLTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and Global Positioning System as connectivity options.

In terms of dimensions, the Black Shark measures 161.62mm x 75.4mm x 9.25mm.
