Perkasie Police investigate armed robbery at McDonald's

Jacob Lafleur, 21, of 508 Evergreen Highway in Bunkie, was arrested at about 9:19 p.m. Sunday and charged with armed robbery with a firearm and illegally carrying a weapon.

North Bay police responded to a report of an attempted robbery at a Cassells Street business.

A 27-year-old man has been arrested by the Sogakofe police for allegedly robbing three ladies and raping one of them in the night of Wednesday, April 11, 2018.

Police said that the accused tried to snatch the victim's phone but he resisted.

The victim was released and the suspects fled with the vehicle.

Law enforcement authorities are investigating an armed robbery and asking for help to identify a suspect.

"Deputies say the suspect is approximately 5'5" tall with a medium build, and was wearing a black hooded sweat shirt, red capri style shorts, black and white sneakers, and a mask.

The man was wearing dark trousers, a black hooded sweatshirt and tan boots, a store employee told police.

Warrants for robbery and malicious wounding were obtained for both suspects, who were later arrested in Colonial Heights on unrelated charges.

The four other suspects were still at large.

The police said: "FTB bank received the information from City Bank from the United States of America about transferring money for 50,000 USD to Nigerian couple account at FTB bank on March 26, 2018".

"When the victim's said they did not have change, the suspects brandished handguns and demanded the victims give them money".
