New Teaser Confirms That OnePlus 6 will be Water Resistant

But there is an additional snippet of news which might not really surprise you.

OnePlus has not officially confirmed the release date for the smartphone, though some leaks have claimed it could launch in May in China.

OnePlus CEO Pete Lau has shared some full-res 16MP camera samples from the OnePlus 6 from a recent walk around Stanford, California.

According to the marketing promos that OnePlus has just recently started running, the OnePlus 6 is nearly ready to be unveiled. Are you ready for the #OnePlus6?' The image shows the dual rear camera setup at the rear panel along with the circular fingerprint sensor and OnePlus branding.

Further, the new promotional poster has appeared online revealing new Coral Blue colour option for the OnePlus 6. Talking about the design part, the smartphone will reportedly feature a 6.28-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a screen resolution of 2,280×1,080 pixels, resulting in the aspect ratio of 19:9.

When it comes to pricing, the OnePlus 6 is said to cost twice as much as the OnePlus 5T. Needless to say, the display will have a notch at the top just like the iPhone X. Paired with 6GB or 8GB of RAM, OnePlus might also include a 256GB variant along with the standard 64GB and 128GB models.

The exif information has naturally been stripped from the photos but they're otherwise untainted. The phone will also allow users to shoot 4K videos. This will be company's first phone to feature water resistance, but it will be interesting to see what IP certification the device will have. Naturally, since none of the details leaked until now have been confirmed by OnePlus (with few exceptions like * cough* the notch), every new teaser released could be a fountain of knowledge for those who know where to look. While the front camera will be capable of advanced facial recognition.
