New Star Wars Han Solo TV Spot Teases More Of The Story

We're just a little over a month from the release of Solo: A Star Wars Story and a new extended TV spot shows off both the action and the humor that Han Solo has in store for us.

A screengrab from "Solo: A Star Wars Story" that stars Alden Ehrenreich as Han Solo. One of the funniest moments involves Han showing his cards to Chewbacca, and the Wookie being obviously unimpressed.

The newest footage of Solo shows off more of Alden Ehrenreich than we've seen in past trailers and teasers. We all know how the game goes, but it appears that it didn't start in Han's favor.

I mean if anything, we're finally gonna get more Lando Calrissian, and that's probably the only thing that can make up for the lack of Finn in TLJ.

Chewie's sad cry in The Force Awakens will probably only seem more painful as we take this look back in time at the early part of their friendship, so soon after witnessing the end of it. Since the cards are clearly in Aurebesh, the Star Wars language, it's hard to tell at a glance whether they're good or not. The Falcon then jets off into hyperspace.

Previous trailers more focused on the other members of Han's crew - Harrelson's Beckett, Donald Glover's Lando Calrissian, and Emilia Clarke's Qi'ra - instead of the titular hero only increased the concern for Ehrenreich's attempts in inheriting the mantle of one of the most beloved characters in the saga.

The 28-year-old, who will be starring as the young Han Solo in the upcoming origins film Solo: A Star Wars Story, revealed just how secretive the franchise was.

When it comes to his own career, Alden tries to bear in mind advice he received from Francis Ford Coppola on his first movie "Tetro", with the legendary director telling him to stay innocent. Through a series of daring escapades deep within a dark and unsafe criminal underworld, Han Solo befriends his mighty future copilot Chewbacca and meets the notorious gambler Lando Calrissian, in a journey that will set the course of one of the Star Wars saga's most unlikely heroes.
