NBA Playoffs 2018: Celtics take Game 1 over Bucks in overtime thriller

The Celtics were up 108-106 in overtime when Al Horford collected a rebound and got it ahead to Rozier, who was fouled.

Giannis Antetokounmpo scored a game-high 35 points to go along with 13 rebounds and seven assists.

The NBA Playoffs officially begin later today, but the Boston Celtics won't begin their first-round series of the postseason until they host the Milwaukee Bucks at the TD Garden tomorrow.

Boston's Terry Rozier hit the expected game-winner for Boston to take a three-point lead with just over a second left. When that shot was matched to force overtime, Rozier was at it again, coming up big down the stretch. All-Star free agent acquisition Gordon Hayward went down in the early minutes of Game 1, and more recently, the Celtics lost All-Star point guard Kyrie Irving for the season as well.

This Bucks team will feel like they've unfinished playoff business, as their last taste of post-season action came in a spirited, but heartbreaking defeat to the Toronto Raptors in Game 6 last season.

Khris Middleton: This was one of those dominant performances in a very stealth-like manner. Middleton poured in 31 points and added eight rebounds and six assists.

Malcolm Brogdon: He was Milwaukee's most effective scorer off the bench on Sunday.

Horford's 24 points and 12 rebounds were both team-highs. But like most of the Bucks, Parker struggled to ever get into any kind of rhythm as he scored just two points while missing four of his five shot attempts.
