Moto G6 Amazon listing reveals specifications, features ahead of April 19 launch

Late last month, the Moto G6 Plus along with the Moto G6 and Moto G6 Play leaked online in all its glory. Also present in the smartphone, will be a fingerprint scanner positioned within the company's logo at the back. The back of the device shows the circular single rear camera with LED flash.

As per the images posted by an Instagram user, and spotted by SlashLeaks, the Moto G6 Play appears to have a glass build similar to the Moto X4. Today, the Motorola Moto G-range generally sports Qualcomm Snapdragon 400-series or 600-series chipsets, along with other features and specifications that are the norm in smartphones priced at under Rs 20,000 in India. All these specs are in line with what previous leaks and rumours have indicated, further confirming their arrival. The renders show off all three phones - the Moto G6 Plus, Moto G6 and Moto G6 Play - in various color options. The screen will have an aspect ratio of 18:9, which means reduced bezels on sides as well as top and bottom. The Amazon listing also confirms dual rear camera setup for Moto G6 with features like "Portrait" shots and face filters.

On the rear there's one camera and it's rumored to be a 13MP shooter, while on the front there's a likely 8MP sensor.

Finally there's the cheapest member of the Motorola G6 family.

Also, the Android-powered mobile will be made available in two configurations-3GB RAM+ 32GB storage and 4GB RAM+64GB storage-with prices starting at $249.99 (roughly €203/Rs 16,264). To top things off, prospective buyers can expect a 12MP, plus 5MP dual camera setup, 3,200 mAh battery and a pretty standard connectivity load-out, including optional Dual SIM support. The phone will likely be powered by a more powerful Snapdragon 630 SoC. Well now, the Moto G6 Plus, which is reportedly the most powerful among the lot, has appeared on a benchmarking site with its key specifications. Not much else is known about the Plus model as yet.

We all know that Lenovo-owned Motorola is holding an event on the 9th of April, 2018 in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
