Manchester City crowned EPL champion at Old Trafford!

Second-place United dragged the title race out for at least another week by winning 3-2 at City last weekend, only to gift the trophy to City by losing to a team that is destined for relegation and had just one league win since August.

Guardiola said he wouldn't be watching United's game at Old Trafford on Sunday, but instead would be enjoying a round of golf with his son.

It was Jay Rodriguez, whose goal from a Baggies corner, gave caretaker manager Darren Moore his first win as West Brom boss and hand the title to City in a far less dramatic way than their infamous Aguerooooooo goal.

The France global scored two goals - the first time he has done so in the Premier League - in a remarkable second-half recovery from United as they won the Manchester derby 3-2 to deny City a win that would have seen Pep Guardiola's men clinch the title.

Many expected the Etihad side to claim the prize last season after appointing Pep Guardiola, but they found themselves usurped by Antonio Conte's Chelsea, who have been rather subdued this time around and look very likely to finish outside of the top four. Both full-backs will need to be more proactive in their attacking play down the wings.

West Brom had lost eight of their previous nine games and last won on January 13.

The setup provided Pogba more creative freedom and showed the damage he could do with such license in the derby win. He should take up the right-flank for the 20-time English champions.

Midfielders Nacer Chadli and Sam Field as well as striker Daniel Sturridge face a late fitness test to be ready for the match at Old Trafford.

"We've won you the league, Manchester City, we've won you the league", sang West Brom's fans near the end of the game. Winning titles in every league is important, with Barcelona was special. "Our City. Premier League Champions 17/18".

Guardiola's team has lost only two league games this season and if they win their remaining five games would end the campaign with 102 points.

"Last season we finished sixth and this season we are going to finish I believe fourth, third or second - hopefully second - and next season we are going to try and improve but let's see what happens".
