Kelly's Lawyer, Publicist, And Assistant Have Reportedly Quit

A pair of women who worked with R. Kelly for years resigned from their positions amid a wave of harrowing allegations against the singer.

According to the BBC, the singer's attorney of four years, Linda Mensch, and his personal assistant of ten years, Diana Copeland, have both decided that they can no longer work for Kelly following the latest allegations against him.

BBC3 illuminated similar accusations in a recent documentary, R Kelly: Sex, Girls & Videotapes, in which former girlfriend Kitty Jones claims the singer introduced her to a girl he had allegedly "trained" since she was 14-years-old.

Things continue to go from bad to worse for R. Kelly. The woman also told the Root that Kelly "groomed her to be his sex pet, complete with dehumanizing requirements including being called "his bitch" in public, group sex, and long periods of isolation". Meanwhile, Rolling Stone also reports Trevian Kutti has resigned as Kelly's publicist. It was said that the women in his life, some of them supposedly minors, were being held at his home against their will.

Mensch was serving as Kelly's attorney at the time and issued a statement to the Daily News denying the accusations made against him in the Buzzfeed report. Then, earlier this month, Dallas police confirmed they were investigating claims that Kelly gave a woman a STD and plied her with drugs and alcohol when she was 19.
