Dark Souls Remastered Delayed On Switch; To Release This Summer

If you were looking forward to taking Dark Souls: Remastered with you everywhere you go this May, unfortunately that's going to have to wait.

Bandai Namco has revealed some unfortunate news today and that is that Dark Souls Remastered on the Nintendo Switch has suffered a delay. That delay also applies to the Solaire amiibo, Bandai Namco explains.

The Solaire of Astora amiibo will be delayed alongside the game.

They had been set to release alongside the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One releases on May 25th, but the release date for the Nintendo Switch version has been pushed back.

BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment Europe S.A.S. part of BANDAI NAMCO Holdings a leading global publisher and developer of interactive content for platforms including all major video game consoles, PC and mobile. The new release timing gives the development team the time needed to make sure Nintendo Switch players can fully appreciate the true Dark Souls experience anytime and anywhere, thanks to the unique portable nature of the Nintendo Switch console.
