Bryce Harper Hit A Broken Bat Home Run

The pitch jammed Harper, and the Nationals slugger broke his bat cleanly in half on the swing.

April has always been a great month for Harper, but he has never been as locked in as he is right now, as he approaches more home runs than strikeouts on the year.

There's scorching hot, and then there's whatever Washington Nationals superstar Bryce Harper is to start the 2018 Major League Baseball regular season. Harper held what was left of his bat as he made his way up the first-base line.

NEW YORK (AP) - This was shear power by Bryce Harper.

That home run, by the way, was No. 8 on the season for Harper. Statcast projected the homer at 406 feet.

Yankees outfielder Aaron Judge hit his 60th career home run on Monday night, a solo blast to right field off of Marlins starter Caleb Smith in the second inning.

On his way back to the dugout, Harper playfully pulled up his sleeve to show his biceps.
