Kenya's Lionesses hopes of winning a medal in Women's Rugby sevens at the Commonwealth Games faded after a shocking 45-0 defeat to New Zealand in Women's Pool Round-Pool A, at Robina Stadium.

Nearly immediately after the kickoff, South Africa regained possession and Cecil Afrikia sped away to score his first try.

The women face Australia in a repeat of the Olympic final while the men meet either South Africa or Fiji. While it's a local derby for the women's basketball semifinal with Australia taking on New Zealand.
