Afghanistan begins to register voters in years-delayed election

Nearly half a million people have been advised to "Check the Register" ahead of the May deadline for the upcoming referendum.

Residents wishing to vote in the city council elections can still register to vote online up until 11.59pm tomorrow, Tuesday 17 April.

Ballots go out to all eligible voters the week of April 23 through the U.S. Mail.

"We've made it easy to register to vote in Kentucky with, and we are extremely proud of the portal's success".

The county election bureau launched the program in February, offering to distribute voter registration applications and informational fliers to all interested high schools and provide county election staff presentations upon request.

As part of electoral reforms after the fraud-marred presidential election in 2014, voters must register again and will receive new voting identification cards.

If you are not a USA citizen, a resident of Pennsylvania at least 30 days before the primary and at least 18 years old as of election day, you can not register to vote.

Not have been adjudged "mentally incompetent". This deadline is also in place for voters who need to change their information.

Changes in party affiliation for the 2018 Primary Election were due by December 31, 2017.

Any person who turns 18 years of age on or before May 25th can register, and has the right to vote in the upcoming referendum. Voters who changed their party affiliation after that date will not be able to vote in partisan races in the Primary, although they may vote on non-partisan races on the ballot.
