49ers' 2018 National Football League regular-season schedule leaked before official release

The last time the Raiders visited the 49ers was in 2010 when Alex Smith's touchdown pass to Vernon Davis sealed San Francisco's 17-9 victory.

While we've known who the 49ers' 2018 opponents will be since late a year ago, we now know the exact road the Niners will need to take in order to return to the playoffs next season.

Week 2 - Sunday, September 16 vs. Detroit Lions at 1:05 p.m.

The 49ers, led by starting quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo, will start the season on the road against the Minnesota Vikings on September 9.

Week 5 - Sunday, October 7 vs. Arizona Cardinals at 1:25 p.m.

Week 9 - Thursday, November 1 vs.

Week 3: 10:00 a.m. Sunday, September 23 @ the Kansas City Chiefs.

Week 10 - Monday, November 12 vs.

Week 14 - Sunday, December 9 vs. Denver Broncos at 1:05 p.m.

The game is one of four which will find the team on prime-time television - in addition to the November 1 visit to the 49ers - with the Raiders hosting the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday, Dec. 9 and the Denver Broncos on a Monday Christmas Eve.

Week 16 - Sunday, December 23 vs.

Raiders open the season against the new-look Los Angeles Rams on ESPN's Monday Night Football at the Oakland Coliseum. Chicago Bears at 1:05 p.m.

The 49ers, a recently downtrodden franchise without a winning season since 2013, have been deemed ready for prime time.

ESPN reported that Minnesota's first road game will be at Green Bay on September 16 in Week 2.

In addition to the 49ers, the Vikings will host the Saints in a rematch of the Minnapolis Miracle in the NFC Divisional Playoff, plus the Arizona Cardinals on October 14, in what could be receiver Larry Fitzgerald's last trip to his hometown as an National Football League player.
