Tom Brady Says Family Considerations Will Factor into NFL Retirement Decision

Super Bowl aside, Brady has been hard at work filming his Facebook Watch series "Tom vs. Times", and Strahan aired a clip from the final episode on Monday's "GMA".

"This offseason is going to be about my family because they deserve it", he said. "I just actually laid down for like an hour and a half".

"I think you realize the sun comes up the next morning and your life goes on, but those games live with you for the rest of your life", Brady said. And they commit a lot to me.

"They were sad for me and the Patriots". It was hard work; we spent a lot of time last offseason and this season, a little bit of time.

Reflecting on New England's playoff run, Brady called the win over Jacksonville one of the best he's been a part of.

He gave understandably somber feedback, saying it was a "loaded question".

Brady's son and daughter were crying when they saw their father after the Super Bowl.

Brady was on a massage table in another scene, being worked on by Guerrero while talking to Gisele about the postseason.

The New England Patriots player spoke with Good Morning America's Michael Strahan on Monday about being a father of three, a devoted husband to Gisele Bundchen and one of the most acclaimed quarterbacks in the NFL. "I looked to to them and I said, 'This is a great lesson".

Brady went through some acupuncture treatment on the dinged digit before suiting up for the January 21 showdown.

"I thought we were going to go down and score".

Tom Brady is finally showing everyone the hand injury he suffered during the National Football League playoffs - and it's WAYYYY worse than everyone thought. a massive, deep, bloody gash.

Obviously the hand drama did nothing to deter Brady's on-field performance as he threw for 290 yards and two touchdowns against the Jags. "It's tough to win that game".

Still, Brady didn't sound like a man on the verge of walking away from the game.

Brady played in his eight Super Bowl last month, an accomplishment that is not lost on the quarterback.

'What should I have done?' It's easy when you look back, but football is the blink of an eye. If the sight of blood makes you queasy, then you're going to want to leave this story now because things are about to get bloody. "I gave everything I had". I gave everything I had, I gave my best effort. "We were just a couple plays short".

Brady - who was previously tight-lipped about his personal life - said he liked making the docu-series.

"It's been such a great love for me". "I think most professionals probably feel the same way". I think one thing that has gotten a little challenging as you get older is there are different priorities and different commitments. You reach in different directions. "Just so you know that". "You have to kind of go all in".

On the Super Bowl, Brady laments that he couldn't make the catch on a first-quarter trick play or hold onto the ball before an Eagles strip-sack late in the fourth quarter.
