The First Teaser For FANTASTIC BEASTS: THE CRIMES OF GRINDELWALD Is Here!

The sequel to 2016's Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, Crimes of Grindelwald picks up with magizoologist Newt Scamander as he undertakes a book tour to promote his newly-published Fantastic Beasts manual.

The Daily Show correspondent Jessica Williams is also down to appear in the film and Brontis Jodorowsky has been cast as Nicolas Flamel. They're joined by Claudia Kim, Zoe Kravitz, Callum Turner, with Jude Law as Dumbledore and Johnny Depp as the titular Grindelwald.

Other talent on board includes Katherine Waterston as Tina, Dan Fogler as Jacob, Alison Sudol as Queenie, Ezra Miller as Credence, and Jude Law as a young Albus Dumbledore.

The dark wizard has escaped from the custody of the Magical Congress of the United States of America, and he's hatching a plot to build an army of pure-blooded wizards to conquer the muggle world. He's broken free of custody and is now gathering followers across the globe to aid him in his true objective: the rule of pure-blood wizards over all non-magical beings.

Fans of the Harry Potter franchise can rejoice.

David Heyman, J.K. Rowling, Steve Kloves and Lionel Wigram are producing the film, with Tim Lewis, Neil Blair, Rick Senat and Danny Cohen serving as executive producers.

The film will continue where the first Fantastic Beasts film left off, with the entire wizarding world reeling after discovering Graves was actually Grindelwald, hiding in plain sight. However, the teaser did reveal a social media campaign where Warner Bros is asking all Potterheads to get their #WandsReady. Dumbledore enlists his help to thwart Grindelwald, who agrees unaware of what it'll bring. Lines are drawn as love and loyalty are tested, even among the truest friends and family, in an increasingly divided wizarding world.
